Special Food this January 2010

Happy Holidays!

Let us start our year with lots of healthy foods. Fruits, vegetables, fish, and meats. For our New Year's Eve. I prepare fried chicken fillet with Cold milled chia seeds. The chicken was deep fried but chia seeds balanced the cholesterol intake.


Ingredients:

1/2 kilo Chicken fillet cut into strips
1/4 cup cold milled White chia seeds.
1 medium white egg
1 spoonful salt
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 cup of olive oil



Procedure:

In a medium bowl beat the egg, mix with salt and cold milled White chia seeds. On a big plate place the 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Deep chicken fillet to the mixed beaten egg with cold milled chia seeds. Leave it for 30 minutes. Then roll it to bread crumbs. Heat the sauce pan with 1 cup of olive oil. when it is ready , deep fry the fillet and serve it with mayonaisse and cucumber
